The Backing tracks I produce come in two forms.
Mp3s
These are audio files designed to be used as backing tracks while practicing lead or rhythm parts. I have recorded them in various forms and at various tempos. Currently I can supply them in Cd form or as direct downloads from my computer. They can also be emailed to a students address for download. We are currently working to make them available for direct download from this website.

Please note these backing tracks are for use only for a students private study. They may not be used for public performance or for any commercial purpose.

Finale Music Files.
I write arrangements of songs which are also available to students for study and practicing purposes. These scores are written in Finale music software. The Finale website makes available, for free, a reader which students can download to their computer. This will allow a student to receive a piece of music by email attachment, open it in to a regular score format (including tablature) and listen to the song as a MIDI file. Various functions, such as the ability to alter the tempo, make this a very useful aid to learning. Please check with me for further details.
I have checked with the Finale company and been assured that although you must submit a valid email address to secure the Reader this will not result in you receiving any marketing emails nor will your address be passed on to any third parties. I am assured it is merely for demographic information.
